Dr. John Molot, Lecturer, Department of Family Medicine, University of Ottawa
Dr. John Molot has focused his medical practice on Environmental Medicine for the past 30 years. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Environmental Health Committee of the Ontario College of Family Physicians. He has developed and provided workshops on environmental medicine for both the Canadian and Ontario Colleges of Family Physicians. He chaired the subcommittee which developed a two-day workshop, titled Environment-linked Illnesses – Prevention, Diagnosis and Management from Preconception to Old Age, and developed and teaches one of the modules, titled Common Chronic Illnesses and the Environment.
Dr. Molot is a Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and a staff physician at the University of Toronto-affiliated Environmental Health Clinic at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. He is also a member of the Canadian Committee on Indoor Air Quality and Buildings, National Research Council Canada, and the Medical Advisor for Canadians for Properly Built Homes.
